Dr. Amit Mehta, MD(Medicine) is the Director of Sukhda Multispecialty Hospital & is heading the department of Internal Medicine & Critical Care in the hospital. After studying and gaining work experience from premier institutes of India like AIIMS, New Delhi and PGIMER, Chandigarh, Dr. Mehta decided to come back to his native place Hisar. He joined Jindal Institute of Medical Sciences in Feb 1994 and worked there tirelessly for nine years as Head of Department of Internal Medicine & Critical Care. He was bestowed with the prestigious “Vikas Ratan Gold Award” in the year 2002 for his exemplary contribution in the field of Healthcare. A humble beginning of Sukhda Hospital was made in November 2002 as a 20 bedded hospital with the sole mission of providing “Care and Cure for Whole Family under One Roof”. This vision has now metamorphosed into Sukhda Multispecialty Hospital, a 100 bedded multi & super specialty hospital striving to provide “Quality HealthCare at Affordable Cost”. Dr Mehta is assisted by a team of qualified and experienced doctors and dedicated nursing, paramedical and support staff supported by of state of art medical and diagnostic services. The patients access the hospital from all regions of Haryana, Rajasthan and Punjab. Bharat Vikas Parishad Hisar awarded Dr. Amit Mehta with “Bharat Vikas Samman Award” for the year 2017 in recognition of his untiring services in providing quality & affordable healthcare to society.
